Lesson Presentations
I found the presentations in our groups to be very beneficial. We definitely have some talented individuals in our class. I now have a small repetoire of ideas for fine arts and I know I can see the rest of the lessons on our class website. I wish we did this before we went out on practicum as I would have liked to try some of the lessons I have seen. I will definitely use some of these lessons during my long practicum.

Kristen, you have done it before your long practicum...I hope you will have lots of opportunities to try these lessons. Great to see the emphasis on dance in your blog.
Kristen, I whole heartedly agree with you! (and because I am in your group :D) There were so many great ideas and I am excited about using some of them on our next practicum!!
We really need to use each other more when it comes to areas we are not familiar with. I have learned so much from you, Dan, and Trina about music and rythm just from the short time spent with each of you. Everyone has their strengths and we can pass on those talent just by being enthousiastic about them.
Hey Kristen, I thought our in class presentations were very benefical as well. I collected some awesome ideas from my ADDM group and cannot wait to check out the website and get everyone elses ideas too.
I agree with Nathan, we need to continue to look to one another for ideas. And in the same breath, I agree with you as well...we definitely have some very talented people within our cohort. Yes, I liked the ADDM Group Lesson Plan ideas--fun, fun, fun:)

Kristen, I just wanted to say how much I appreciated your taking charge and giving us direction during our potluck performance practice (how is that for alliteration????pretty impressive, no?). It was great to see your talent in directing in action. You got us all focused, gave us great staging and dancing ideas,and got all ADDM groups to have at least 1 runthrough in the group practice within 1 HOUR, which is nothing short of miraculous! And you did it w a smile and sense of humor, rather than by being bossy. I can tell that you are very, very good at your job and was pleased to get a chance ot see you in your professional role. Your students must love you!
Also,apropos of nothing, wasn't it great to see famous works of artin new york, like Van Gogh's "Starry, Starry Night" and Monet's "WAterlily Series" in real life? These are like artistic rock stars and i got goosebumps seeing the real thing...
Megan, what a great idea to comment on Kristen's contribution on her blog. I find that most of you have a hard timem describing your own contributions well enough to do them justice but you are skillful at providing descriptive feedback for each other. Putting your feedback here gives me easy access as I am reviewing her blog and highlighting contributions on the rubric. What do you think, Kristen?

I feel that you have a wealth of arts experiences that are a little under-represented in this blog but were well shared in activity with your classmates.
